Coimbatore: Narayana Educational Institutions on Tuesday conducted a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) workshop for students from its schools across Tamil Nadu, focusing on emotional well-being and holistic development.

The workshop, titled Safalta Ka Raasta, was led by Sharani Ponguru, Director, Narayana Educational Institutions. It aimed at nurturing empathy, emotional awareness and self-understanding among students, while equipping them with tools to manage academic pressure and build mental resilience.

More than 600 students from Classes X and XI representing various Narayana school campuses in Tamil Nadu participated in the programme held in Coimbatore. Through storytelling, real-life examples and interactive sessions, the workshop encouraged students to build confidence, set meaningful goals and strengthen emotional balance.

Students took part in NLP-based activities such as guided breathing, emotional regulation exercises, reflective journaling and dream visualisation. Organisers said these practices were designed to improve concentration, manage stress and enhance emotional intelligence.

Speaking on the initiative, Sharani Ponguru said the Safalta Ka Raasta programme, now in its sixth season, goes beyond motivation by helping students reconnect with their inner strengths and aspirations.

The workshop reflected Narayana Schools' continued focus on student well-being and personality development alongside academic excellence, with participants leaving the session motivated and focused, organisers said.
