New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the re-revised results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2024. This exam, conducted on May 5, 2024, with a re-exam on June 23, 2024, for 1563 candidates, serves as a uniform test for admission to various undergraduate medical courses, including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS, in accordance with the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, and the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020.

Key statistics for NEET-UG 2024 include:

Total candidates registered: 2,406,079
Total candidates appeared: 2,333,297
Exam conducted in: 13 languages across 571 cities, including 14 cities outside India
Key figures: 2,10,105 invigilators, 7500 observers, and 587 city coordinators

The NTA's role includes conducting the exam and announcing results based on eligibility criteria set by the NMC. The All India Rank provided by NTA will be used by admitting authorities to create merit lists for various courses under their jurisdiction. The AACCC will oversee counseling for AIQ seats in Ayush courses. The re-revised scorecard was issued following a Supreme Court directive on July 23, 2024, due to a revision in the answer key.
