Kalai Thilagam POORANEE THANJAVUR RAMESH (16-July-1994) - An Indian classical Bharatanatyam dancer one who started learning dance from the age of 6 and performed in many places across India and USA includes (Bridgewater Venkateswara temple, Guruvayoorappan temple-Morganville, Sai Datta Peetam(Shirdi in US)-Edison, Mahalakshmi Temple - Delaware) and achieved many trophies, a World Record achiever, a Guinness Record Holder. She has done her masters in commerce field and completed bachelor's degree in Bharatanatyam. Apart from Bharatanatyam, she also does folk, western and Bollywood dances. Her other interests also include handcrafts, drawing, and artwork (Crafting, Stitching, Drawing, Judging, Modeling, Mehndi, Make-up artist and Hair stylist). She performed in the 64th Republic Day celebration organized by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2013. She was awarded with the KALAI THILAGAM title by “All India Entwined Fine Arts Group” in 2023. She has participated in Brahan Natyanjali -International Dance Festival at the Big Temple, Thanjavur in 2018.

She is associated with Bridge Academy - college for Music & Fine arts, India. She is a Pioneer Classical Bharatanatyam Performer in Dulhan Expo (20 Years in History) - Tri State Expo in PA, USA. She has been awarded as “Best Choreographer” by Business NJ, USA. She represented Indian culture at Diwali Festival - 2023 in American School, NJ, USA. Being a passionate dancer, she wanted to establish our Indian culture through her talent wherever she appears. She is a pageant winner of Mrs.Bharat Petite New Jersey 2024 conducted by MYDREAMTV USA. She was honored at TNF Mother's Day celebration - 2024. She has been honored for multi versatile talent at the FeTNA-2024 event. She was representing India during Independence Day Parade at NYC, Aug -2024. Her Vision - “Women are born to succeed. Real talents are being accepted everywhere. Think out of the box and get succeeded”.
