A new Guinness world of record-Tamil Ezhuthappadi organization
Dec 10, 2024

JTM Tamil Palli has made history by successfully creating a new Guinness world record for the “Most authors reading consecutively from their books”.
This was made possible by the Tamil Ezhuthappadi organization partnering with the four Tamil schools (Cumming Tamil School, Frederick Tamil School, Peachtree Tamil School, and JTM Tamil Palli) in the Southeast region. From our Tamil palli, we had Six students (Iniyavan Senthil, Madhiniya Ragupathi, Sanjay Rajesh, Sanjana Saravanan, Shraddha Hariharan, and Tejaswini Saravanan), one parent (Sarvamangala Rajagopalan), and one teacher (Kathiravan Periasamy).
Each one of the winners has spent lots of effort in writing the book, practicing for continuous reading, and traveling to Atlanta for the event during the weekend of Dec 7, 2024.
History was made in Atlanta, in front of representatives from the Guinness Book of World Records. The day started at 8.47M with the first author reading their book and concluded in the late evening with the announcement of “officially amazing” from the Guinness World Book of Records agency.
CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who is part of this making this history. Now our JTM Tamil Palli has joined the history as a Guinness Book of Records award winner.
