New Delhi: The XLRI Xavier School of Management has launched the Xavier Scholar Entrance Test (XSET), a national-level exam for admission to its Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM).

The test, to be held on January 4, 2026, across 12 cities, will assess candidates' interest in research, conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning and ethical orientation. A minimum score of 50% is required to qualify for the interview stage.

The FPM and EFPM aim to develop scholar-leaders for academia, consulting and industry. The programmes offer specialisations in nine management areas, including Economics, Finance, HR, Marketing, Strategy and Information Systems. They include rigorous coursework, seminars and thesis guidance, with full-time scholars receiving financial aid and hostel accommodation at XLRI's Jamshedpur campus.

Dr J Ajith Kumar, Associate Dean (FPM & Research), said the programmes encourage interdisciplinary knowledge flow to foster innovation and impactful research.
