Chennai: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, on Tuesday conducted a preventive vigilance training programme as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, in line with the guidelines of the Central Vigilance Commission.

Organised by JIPMER's Capacity Building Unit, the programme focused on preventive vigilance, ethical governance, financial propriety, transparency and accountability. The session was delivered by former Director of Accounts and Treasuries of Puducherry Amrithalingam V.

Around 100 employees from various departments participated, underscoring JIPMER's commitment to promoting integrity, good governance and capacity building within the institution.
