Chennai: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) on Friday announced that hall tickets for private candidates appearing in the Class 8 Public Examination scheduled from August 18 to 22, 2025, will be available for download from the afternoon of August 11.

Candidates who had applied online at the department's service centres can obtain the admit cards from the website www.dge.tn.gov.in.

To download, candidates must click on the “Hall Ticket” link, select “Download Hall Ticket” under the heading ESLC August 2025 Examination - Candidate Hall Ticket Download, and enter their application number and date of birth. The hall ticket will then be displayed for download.

The DGE clarified that no candidate will be permitted to appear for the examination without the hall ticket. Further, no individual intimation will be sent to candidates regarding its availability.
