Delhi: Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology (Independent Charge), emphasized that India's youth have regained their lost esteem in the last 10 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking at the inauguration of the fourth season of the Mann Ki Baat Quiz-cum-Declamation contest in Thiruvananthapuram, Dr. Singh highlighted the global recognition of Indian talent and potential.
The event, organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan at the Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education, celebrated the power of youth, sports, and the inspirational messages delivered by PM Modi through his Mann Ki Baat radio program.
Dr. Singh noted that sports have become a significant source of livelihood and play a vital role in promoting physical and mental well-being.
During the event, Dr. Singh distributed certificates to the winners of season three and honored international athletes from the Sports Authority of India. Winners of season four will be invited to attend the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi.
Former Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan and other dignitaries, including Dr. A. Radhakrishnan and M. Anilkumar, were also present at the event.
