TN Guv advices to UPSC aspirants to stay focused

Coimbatore: A discussion and felicitation ceremony themed "Building Bharat - Journey towards 2047" was held in Coimbatore to honor the winners of the Civil Services Examination.
The event took place at the PSG Technical College Campus, organized by the Young Indians Coimbatore Division, PSG Educational Institutions, and Sambavi Sankalp I.A.S Academy.
Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi graced the occasion and felicitated the successful candidates.
In his address, Governor Ravi emphasized the importance of maintaining physical and mental well-being for those pursuing careers in civil services, urging the aspirants to incorporate at least 15 minutes of yoga into their daily routine and to adopt a mindset of continuous learning by acknowledging that there is always more to know.
Governor Ravi advised the candidates to remain disciplined, work hard, and read extensively, noting that opportunities arise from dedicated effort stressing the importance of self-control and cautioned against distractions that could waste time.
"Don't worry about anything until you reach your goal," he encouraged.
Looking ahead to 2047, Governor Ravi spoke of India's aspirations to become a developed nation and called on the young achievers to contribute to this vision highlighting the role of the Prime Minister in empowering the youth and reminded the candidates that they are the nation's assets, holding the responsibility to lead the country towards progress.
The event also featured insights from Civil Services exam toppers, who shared their experiences of training, study, and examination strategies.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Young Indians Coimbatore President Vishnu Prabhakar.
Notable attendees included Santhosh Taneja, founder of Delhi Sankalp IAS Academy, Anush, founder of Sambavi Sankalp, and Prakasam, Principal of PSG Technical College.
