Fourteen years ago, we founded our college with the vision of equipping every student with the skills demanded by employers in their respective fields of study. Today, we are proud to see this vision realized. We have established 33 Centers of Excellence, including those in Robotics, Automation, and Energy, in collaboration with industry partners.
Abundant Opportunities
There are numerous opportunities, especially for female students, in core engineering fields such as civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Unfortunately, many students mistakenly believe these fields are too challenging for women. It's important for today's students and parents to understand that, similar to IT and corporate roles, these fields also offer positions that involve office work without strenuous labor. Companies provide excellent opportunities and exclusive facilities for women engineers.
Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing all fields, with 'Generative AI' currently taking precedence over 'Open AI'. Developing skills in this area, along with sector-specific expertise, is crucial. Engineering students should actively engage in research and development to find solutions to national problems. With increasing emphasis on sustainability and the environment, there are growing opportunities in waste-free recycling and other green initiatives.
Cut-off to Decrease
According to the latest announcement from AICTE, colleges with adequate infrastructure and faculty can increase student admissions. Consequently, many leading institutes will expand their admission slots. Therefore, the cut-off for engineering admissions is likely to be lower this year compared to last year.
There are countless opportunities for engineering students. Developing mathematical and sector-specific skills, focusing on areas in demand by employers, and effectively utilizing internships can open numerous doors.
